My counselor has submitted all the necessary forms online, included my transcript. However, one university sent me a letter stating: "I do have a photocopy of the transcript that you sent to me with your common application form. However, I need to have an official or
attested copy."
I don't have a problem sending it, but why isn't the online transcript enough? I thought that's what Commonapp is for, so that we don't have to send anything in mail. Also, why does it say that I submitted the "photocopy of the transcript"? I mean...everything was done online by my counselor, why isn't that OK?
PS. I'm an international student.
Is it likely that other universities will also require me to send an "official" transcript?

Thank you for your help!!! :)
