schools and their programs

hi can someone tell me some good schools of architecture and also write how many years they will have to attend that college to get bachelors (and masters) degree?
thanks

search some general topics on here as there are a lot (as in, probably the majority in this forum sub section) of threads about schools, programs, and what to look for.

you first need to decide if you are passionate about architecture. talk to architects, students, professors, take internships, do summer programs, and do all you can to really figure out that architecture is what you want.

i would recommend doing that before you start looking at schools. this is so you get interested in schools because of the type of work their students and faculty produce, as opposed to "someone told me X school was good on an online forum." but perhaps thats a little idealistic, so here are some names that are frequently thrown around here as having strong undergraduate programs (so you at least have somewhere to start) in no particular order: UT Austin, Rice, Cornell, USC, Cooper Union, Cal-Poly SLO, Virginia Tech, RISD, UCicinnatti, UMiami, Syracuse, UVa, Washington St. Louis

again, you need to use the search function on this forum if you're just starting out. theres a lot of really important information you need to be aware of if your interested, especially about 5 year programs.
