Does anyone have any suggestions for the not so great student that hasn't hit his stride yet but great hockey player. Looking to apply as a repeat Sophomore, but needs a nurturing environment that can work with his abilities and improve his study skills. At the same time challenges him in all aspects to perform his best.

I know, I'm asking for alot... but will welcome all suggestions.

Look into Berkshire in Sheffield, MA. I hear they have good hockey.

I second Berkshire. Beautiful with 3 hockey rinks, though no swimming pool. Lots of structure and commitment to the student. I thought it was a excellent school, jut not right for my d. ( The AO recommended a few schools that he felt would better meet her needs.- I am forever grateful for that).

What about Avon Old Farms in Connecticut? Wel known for hockey, all male. I have found the boys there to be well mannered and from what I know of the school it is a very supportive (and well structured) environment.
