Hey guys. I was thinking of applying to a few schools for pre med to see what my choices are. Maybe one or two. I’ve already applied to Umass Amherst, UConn, UDel, UNH, PC, BC, Fairfield, Quinnipiac, and Villanova, all of them but PC for nursing. Where do you guys think I have a good chance at, but still competitive at as a pre-med student (probably bio major). Here are my stats: 1480 sat (710 english, 770 math); 3.7 uw gpa, 4,3 w gpa; 3 AP’s; all honors classes; lots of ec’s; very good rec’s; great essay.
Seems like you have a good shot at the University of Pittsburgh, and at their honors college. It’s a good school for people who are pre-professional focused, including pre-med.
Hey! I actually applied to UConn under a pre-med track, I think you’ll have a good chance there especially because UConn has a “Special Program in Medicine,” which you would have to apply for. Also, I have a friend who just finished undergrad and UConn and is applying to med school with an English major and is doing research at an orthopedic lab. So Go Huskies!
