Schools often mentioned in movies and TV series in 2010?

<p>I'm curious which schools were mentioned or shown or featured in movies or TV series this year including late last year. I only saw Stanford from the movie Avatar and then that's it.</p>

<p>I can’t even believe I know this but on Hannah Montana, Miley and her best friend are both desperately trying to get into Stanford. They pronounce it super weirdly, though.</p>

<p>On How I Met Your Mother, Marshall studied law at Columbia and Ted teaches architecture there.</p>

<p>Someone mentioned Fringe, it’s set in Harvard and Peter Bishop in it is constantly reminded of his fake MIT diploma. Some episodes also include MIT in it.
Also, Inception was filmed at University College London.</p>

<p>Wesleyan has been mentioned at least once on The Daily Show this year; a recurring character on 30 Rock is a Wesleyan graduate; Ted and Marshall on How I Met Your Mother constantly wear Wesleyan t-shirts.</p>

<p>harvard, yale, and stanford are in lot of movies. chicago has a few famous ones (when harry met sally and indiana jones).</p>

<p>Lead character in In The Heights on Broadway goes to Stanford. Meredith Grey went to Dartmouth as did Steven Colbert’s fictional character and it was the dream school of several Gossip Girl characters before they had to send them to NYU and now Columbia to keep them in NYC.</p>

<p>Like on CC, everything is now about the ivy league although most can’t name all 8!</p>
