Schools that accept SSAT Feb. test.

The only school does I know so far is Andover, any other schools yo guys want to add to the list?

Since my son is taking it for the first time this saturday, Hotchkiss suggested that he take it again in February, as kids usually do better the 2nd time around. He said it would be in time for decisions...

All the schools that don't require the SSAT should be on the list.

Be careful about what this means.

By saying that they will accept a February SSAT score, a school might be saying that they will consider your application as being on time if everything but your February SSAT score is delivered by the deadline.

THEN AGAIN...they might simply be letting you know that they'll take updated SSAT scores from the February test, provided that your application was complete by the school's deadline, including an SSAT score from January or earlier.

You don't want to assume that a school that accepts the February SSAT will regard your application as being timely if you don't have an SSAT already on file. I would confirm that part if it's a concern. And I would want to know, in express terms, that a first-time SSAT score from February will still be considered in the pool of applications that get considered by March 10.

If not, then you may want to find an educational consultant who can administer the SSAT individually, before the February date...on a date that will make your application timely for March 10 consideration.
