Schools that don't give out Rejections for EA?

O. M. Goodness

So I was planning on applying to heaps and heaps of schools for EA...and I already wrote all the supple essays and things .
But my counselor tells me just today that she is not going to let me apply to any schools that give out rejections for EA and that I am only allowed to apply to schools that either admit or defer students ..and that I am not even allowed to apply for an ED admission because she thinks I have better chances at RD.

I think its ridiculous...but I don't want to argue with her anymore, I bet she hasnt writtn my recs yet...

so my point : I can only apply to schools that dont give out rejects at all for EA. ANyone help help help hel phel pe hel pe Plz ??? u will be blessed please HEL:P baaa

I am heartbroken.
...

btw, do colleges that don’t give out rejections for EA even exist???

georgetown doesn’t.

Ok, first of all your guidance counselor is completely in the wrong, you can apply to any college you want whenever you want, take this up with someone higher up than her, dont freak out, just talk to your guidance counselor and tell her what you’re doing, it will ultimately be your decision and not hers.

^ I know ! I am so bummed out@@ but I really have to do as my counselor says otherwise she will xxxx my recs up. We already went through a huge argumenet last yr cuz she made me retake the course that I made A in the previous yr just because of the schedule conflict! ugh!

No. She can’t do that regardless.

Take it up with the principal. If not him, then a higher school board member.

Villanova will defer to RD, if not accepted EA.

Maybe it’s the fact that you’re applying to “heaps and heaps” of EA schools. Maybe she’s bothered by the fact that you can’t make up your mind and narrow your list?

Just heard from Tulane yesterday that they do not reject during EA round
