Schools that LOVE ECs?

My ECs are definitely my strength, and I have less than impressive grades thanks to a lazy sophomore year.

What are some schools that weight ECs highly in the admissions process? Or is there a resource that I could use to find these out myself?

Ivies.

Sorry. Most schools that give higher weight to ECs do so because there are more 4.0 applicants than spots in the school.

Bump…I’d like to know the answer to this question as well.

Out of the 3,000 or so 4-years in the country, most admit based on just grades and scores. ECs come in to play at schools that are selective enough to be able to choose between highly qualified applicants, so a low GPA makes you a non-starter.

I don’t think good ECs ever make up for a bad transcript, but I would think that a smaller LAC may be more apt to notice leadership activities and that you improved your grades junior year and are on an upward trend.
