Hello! I am currently high school junior and I am looking for a college on the east coast or that south that will allow me to get a degree in both voice and business. I am having trouble telling what programs each school offers and if I would be allowed to study both of my majors. If anyone has any information about double degrees/majors or knows any colleges that offer such programs it would be a huge help! Also if you have any experience in studying those fields or any advice for me, I would love to hear your opinion!
My current list is
Carnegie Mellon University
Emerson College
James Madison University
Northwestern
University of Virginia
Ohio University
Just search on google " ______ University list of majors"
This was the first link when I searched carnegie mellon university list of majors

BTW at a lot of schools, you have to apply to the b-school in order to do a major within it. They might have stricter requirements than the school does in general. The same might apply for voice. You might have to audition to be accepted to the major. So when applying you’d need to talk to counselors at the institution and make sure you apply to both programs at the same time, because if you’re not accepted into one of those, that might impact your decision.
CMU has:

and it has the Tepper business school.
@College4g you might want to head over to the Music Major forum here at CC - go read the stickied thread called The Double Degree Dilemma in order to get a better sense of the different ways to study music. It explains the difference between BA and BM programs. Typically a performance based music degree is a BM, and to study something else outside of a school of music typically takes 5 years in order to complete the requirements of both a music school and business school. Some particularly double degree-friendly schools include Northwestern, Bard, Oberlin, Lawrence, and Peabody/JHU, though I don’t know anything about their business offerings.
You might also look for music schools that offer a music business or music industry major - a double major within a school of music will likely take less time than a double degree. I believe James Madison has a Music industry major or something similar.
Northwestern is a top school for business, but it would be difficult to get into for it.
