schools with the best track

I was wondering if anyone knew about any schools with the best track program. My sister is going to St. Georges to run track next year and I am also an avid track runner and I need to find a school with a solid track team!

NMH has a pretty good track program. The girls team was the NE Champions in 2002 and the boys team won the NE championship in 2007. The boys team also tied with Hotchkiss for NE champions this year after an undefeated season.

Blair has turned out several D1 college runners. Track is a little tough at many of the prep schools because they field teams in so many spring sports. If you are a distance runner, check out the cross country programs, which are usually stronger than track at many of the schools just because there aren't as many fall sports that suck up all the athletes. Blair's distance coach is one of the truly awesome mentors and coaches in the country. Cushing coach has developed some excellent distance runners, too.

I saw Cushing on MTV made.. im a loser.. But yeah i heard Cushing had a good cc team. My dad used to baby sit a teacher who works there when he was younger.

Cushing was only good because of the Taye brothers, none of the prep schools are necessarily "good" for track.

Wilbraham and Monson had Russell Dinkins this past year that ran 47.92 and 1:51.xx as a junior, but have no depth besides him. I think he's definitely the most talented prep runner in the country.

Philips Exeter is probably your best bet RIGHT NOW, but these things change every year.

Yeah I agree Exeter is probably the best we had a meet against them and they where so fast. I heard they have a freshman girl who runs a 5:02 1600m and two girls who run 10.8 100m
