Grove City & Reed

They only thing wrong with Jpod's statement is that most likely only like 2% of those kids go to University Park and the rest all go to a branch campus. That is how it is at my school at least. Penn State Berks is like our high school with a few other kids thrown in.

Oh and I would never go to a community college or a school with less than 5000 undergrads.

Actually moron, i go to the top public high school in the state of Pennsylvania. I'm not exaggerating at all.

You know, I have to agree with you on that one jPoD. That was one of the big reasons I turned down Virginia Tech and UVa acceptances, even though I could have taken advantage of in-state tuition.

hah i feel ya. My friend in SB is goin to USC. I myself would never have turned down UVA, but i see the problem in your perspective =D

hmm, someone earlier said Pensacola Christian College, and i'll second that. If you haven't yet, read the article about it around here somewhere.

Also any Catholic school with the exception of Georgetown.

Any religious school (I might make an exception for Georgetown because I love DC... hometown repruhzent). Any conservative school. Any rural school. Any school not near a city period. Any school with tech because I am not a mathy person. Any school that doesn't have late night public transportation. Any school that doesn't have sushi/thai food nearby. haha. And yes, I actually picked my college based on those last 2 comments. Tufts has a 3AM bus and plenty of good food!

Jpod, what school would that be because I highly doubt that is true.

you tell me.

taken from another thread:

PSU Class of 010

Got in with
Cumalative- 3.24
Accumlatative- 3.64

SAT- 1520

All AP and Honors classes. Extra math credits.

Montgomery County Public Schools the best school district in the country as well as wealthiest.

yeah and WHAT?!?

You couldn't pay me enough to go to UGA, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, or Ole Miss. Gross. Really any school in the South.

I wouldn't go to MOST Protestant schools. Some are decent, but that's in the minority. Catholic schools are much better in comparsion, especially to Jews like me.

Anyplace military oriented or overly conservative are also out.

yay for Jews. The religion thing doesnt matter for certain schools, but for others like say Nova, BC, ND, etc., i would never be allowed to go.

I wouldnt go to schools in the south, liberal schools, small schools, or Chico State.

jPoD, u going to PSU? I might be joining u, especially since its rolling admissions. Yessseseses hahah yayay looloo !!!!!!!11!!!!

No i'm not. As ive stated previously, ~35% of my school goes to PSU every year, and id rather not be in a HS environment. Besides the fact, im a junior :P
I'm planing on going to either BU or American.

I used your location that is in your profile and I decided you must go to Lower Merion. Which I concede is a good high school, but does not send 35% to Penn State. I did some more searching and discovered that they had about 40 go to main campus (which is a lot) but unless you only have 114 students per graduating class which I know is not true (the real number is arround 400ish) you have grossly inflated your numbers.

Also I think you are an arrogant b*****d that will eventually fail in life after your rich parents cut you loose and let you do things on you own. Good luck gettin into BU or American. I hope Mommy and Daddy have are alumni and are willing to donate a nice chunck of change to get you in you filthy prick.

Indeed i do. Where do you go? And idk where you got the numbers, but indeed it was ~35% last year. What have i done to show arrogance? I dont think i will fail in life. Thanks for the kind words about getting into BU and AU. My parents are alumni at neither. My father went to Temple and my mother went to Barnard. Are you jealous i have better opportunities then you? It's a shame all you could muster is getting into Penn State. They must be very proud their valedictorian goes to such a fine institution /sarcasm

So...did your mom like Barnard, jPoD?

From everything she's ever said, my mom loved Barnard.

Good to hear, I applied there...just wondering.
