2 weeks as in 2 weeks from the day I posted. If they are mailing them out tomorrow, then they should definitely be arriving by Monday/Tuesday...but hopefully Monday.

Sandmitch: didn't need the smart reply - everyone is just excited...

Sorry if I offended.

Anyway, decisions for people who applied before November 30 have been released!! I GOT IN!!! :D :D :D

Sandmitch: did you get the letter in the mail today? I did not receive a letter yet, so I guess I have to wait until Monday.

Chris -- Yep, it came in the mail about an hour ago. The postmark is February 27 so quite frankly, I'm astounded it came this fast, even though it only had to travel half an hour to get to me. I seriously can't believe this; I'm so excited. My parents are mostly excited about the $3500/yr, hahah.

COngrats! I just got back from the mentor retreat for SHOTIME (Schreyer Honors Orientation). I am really excited about this and can't wait to meet the new students.

If anyone has any questions feel free to pm me, also be sure to join the SHC class of 2013 facebook group started by Dean Brady himself. Schreyer Honors College, Penn State - Class of 2013 | Facebook

ahahahaha I have been waiting this entire year to join that group. I felt so lame but I literally started bawling when I saw the giant envelope. This is finally confirmation to me that hard work pays off(:

Edit: Actually I guess I can't join because I'm not in the Penn State network yet (we don't get psu.edu email addresses for a while)

Don't feel lame, it was tear fest at my house too when I found out.

Now I really want a Schreyer hoodie or tshirt or something. Do they even make them? I was downtown a lot yesterday during the Women in Engineering stayover and couldn't find any... perhaps I'm the only one who would want one haha

sandmitch, where in PA are you that you got your letter so fast?

Congrats to everyone who got their letters today! I can't wait until Monday.

swoopes -- I'm in Altoona, about 40 minutes from University Park. Guess that explains the fast service. I'm still waiting to hear from my friends (also in my town) who applied to see if they got their letters as well (or if I'm the only one, haha). All I can say is, if you see a giant, plain white envelope, go get yourself a cake and have a dance party because you're in.

oh man. i'm gonna be a nervous wreck now when i open my mailbox looking for that big envelope. thanks! and congrats too haha

wow akittka...i hope those envelopes come today, but u and i are berried in like three feet of snow so i dont know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha i know. it's like bittersweet. i'm not getting my hopes up haha

mail just came and there was nothing. if anything that's not a good sign i guess. i realized i was wearing my penn state hoodie as i was walking towards the mail box. kinda funny haha.

well i got a letter alright.
psu can shove it...

ahh that sucks. sorry to hear that. now i'm def not getting my hopes up cause i think we have similar stats.

haha...nah dont say that...if we both get denied, its cz we are catholic!
ill be conveinced there is a bias

Aww I'm sorry to hear about that, Jarad... but keep your hopes up AKittka!
