<p>So, here's hoping someone can give me a good idea if I've got a shot:</p>

<p>31 ACT composite; 92.13 weighted GPA, with 7 APs between Junior and Senior years (AP English Language (5) & Lit, AP French(4), APUSH (5), AP Euro, AP Micro & Macro); National Merit Commended; NHS and FLNHS member; organized four major fundraisers, one of which was done while homebound; school newspaper and literary magazine editor; various academic awards. Had my SHC application in well in advance of the deadline, but due to some shenanigans, was only accepted into PSU at the end of January.</p>

<p>What're my chances?</p>

<p>How good were your essays and recommendations?</p>

<p>I had really strong essays, and two fantastic rec letters. One was purely on academics, the other was community service.</p>

<p>I know! It’s so hard to wait. Apparently, last year, they posted up an admissions update, saying when letters had been mailed, but I haven’t seen that yet this year.</p>

<p>I think they said standardized tests wouldn’t matter for admittance to honors.</p>
