Schreyers: Email or Snail Mail & ?????

<p>Hi everyone. I guess we'll know about SHC in just a few days. </p>

<p>Does anyone know how they notify? Do they email or post the info on our My Penn State account or both? Do they send notification to our private email address? </p>

<p>Also, if they turn you down do they notify you or just let you hang in limbo? Limbo is killing me now, I don't know if I can hang on much longer. </p>

<p>I also heard it can be highly political to get into SHC. I heard connections count. Is that true or did that come from someone who got rejected and is looking for an excuse? </p>

<p>One last question. I called the SHC and asked WHEN they notify and the woman would only say "by the end of February". Does that mean it could come any day now or are they literally waiting until Saturday, the last day in Feb?</p>

<p>You will here via snail mail. I heard 2/28. I have never heard about getting into the SHC to be "political" and I really doubt that it is. The SHC program is really well devloped and thought out in ways that would discourage that from happening.</p>
