<p>Can someone tell me about McGill's School of Music? It's harder to get as much information as I would have hoped, it being in Canada. More specifically, the "Music Research" section of Schulich, which looks really cool.</p>

<p>Just retuned from McGill yesterday -- son auditioned in jazz piano -- and i can report that the school is very impressive. Their new music building is amazing, saw nothing like it in any of the US schools we have visited. The city of Montreal is beautiful (I hiked to the top of Mount Royal during the audition). And the tuition for Americans is about $15K a year! Son has also applied to music schools at Indiana, U of Michigan, and Rutgers, and McGill is currently is first choice.</p>
