Science classes-physics needed?

I'm a rising junior at a competitive public high school in so cal.
I'm ranked first in my class & I have a niche with English and History. I will be in the IB program next year (English, Math, History as HL's). I just happen to excel at math but don't plan on pursuing anything related.
I really like Columbia but am concerned if I'm going to have enough science under my belt. I've taken Biology and Chemistry Honors and soared through the courses and will be taking AP Chem next year. I took the SAT IIc and think I did 750+ and will take subject test for chem next May. My school counselor suggests I take a physics course but I'm not planning on entering anything related with the sciences. All my EC's are geared toward the liberal arts area.

Will this be a weakness and should I take physics? (I'd have to take it over next summer or at a local community college during the school year)

Thanks!!!
