Science classes

Hi I was wondering what science classes I should take junior and senior year if I'm interested in premed for college. I Took bio h last year and I'm taking chemistry h. I really like Chem so i think next year ap chem would be cool, but for senior year Im unsure if I should take ap bio or physics c. Physics c will diversify my transcript but bio will help me for college. What do you guys think?

I think you should take physics so you have all three sciences.

I agree- most colleges like to see physics.

Agree with the above, but Physics C may be challenging as a first course in physics.

Physics B should be sufficient. Would that be available in your schedule?

Physics B no longer exists; it’s Physics 1/2.

For college admissions: Either will do, choosing AP bio will not weaken you in any way. Schools do not care about the three sciences rule as long as you take college level work in sciences.

For college preparation: Bio all day. AP bio will give you a good base going into college. Physics C is overkill especially since most premed students take algebra based physics which is much easier.

I would vote AP Bio. It’ll definitely give you an advantage in the long run for college, especially if you wanna go into pre-med. Think long term, not short term.

Junior Year:
Human Anatomy
Forensics
AP Biology

Senior Year:
AP Chemistry
AP Physics 1 or 2

Note: Also you may want to take AP Computer science as in the modern age many need to know
