science classes

Some of the Ivy-Leagues transfers have been telling me that you might have to retake the classes in those schools if your cc classes don't match the level of their difficulties. This fall, I will be taking Intro. to Biology, a non-bio major science course. So would this be good enough for Ivy League or should I try a more idifficult course with more units, like Human Anatomy.

That depends on your major and the school(s) you're interested in transferring into. I would look at their curriculum guidelines to know if they require you to take certain courses. The sciences they accept from the schools you transfer from, from what I have heard, aren't necessarily about difficulty, but more about compatibility. Analyze their requirements and then ask your advisor or enroll into a course that is close to the description of the course required at the ivy you wish to attend (most schools have different designations for people taking intro bio classes depending on whether they're a non-science major or premed). Hope this helped :)

If you can get away with not taking Anatomy..dooooooooo it. I don't recommend that class to anyone who isn't pursuing a medical career! It's not that it's hard, it's just very time consuming with tons of memorization and not to mention the lab time. I took it during my first semester, which was an 18 credit semester for me plus 30+ work hours a week. I made an A, but had to do some SERIOUS time management!
