Science Competitions for High School Students

Hi guys, I was wondering if you uys could give me any advice on tests/competitions/scholarships based on science (mainly biology/chemistry). I'm sorry if my question is vague, but I was wondering if you guys could just help me out! Please help! THANKS!

Intel ISEF
Siemens
Intel STS

These three are the most prestigious science research competitions, with cash awards. The US olympiads are also pretty prestigious and competitive, although I’m not as familiar with those.

do the results for any of these come out soon enough to affect either ED or RD results? i know the final rounds are usually in march or so, but what about semifinalist notice?

Intel ISEF is usually in the spring, so you’d need to do that in your junior year.

Siemens is out by EA/ED, and STS comes out in January, in time for RD.
