<p>I wanted to know how Goucher's science dept is (and math)? I'm looking to go visit it, but since I'm looking to major in math/chem or math/physics, it's pretty important that they have decend dept, like they don't need to be the best in the country, just as long as it average/above average. thanks the help</p>
<p>I spoke with the head of the Chemistry department when I visited, he said that it is quite competitive in the sciences come grad school time. I heard that just under 100% of students who apply to grad school get accepted and most end up at highly prestigious schools such as Penn and the like. It's supposed to be a very strong area for the school.</p>
