What Math and Science classes should I take in high school that MIT would like?

I am a freshman in Alg2/trig and Biology

Should I take Stats or precalc next year, when should I take stats if I don't take it sophomore year?

Should my sciences be Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Environmental Or should i do regular chemistry( hardest class at my school)?

Classes all the way to senior year would be nice, but more importantly AP Stat or Precalc next year, AP Bio, Chemistry, or AP Chem next year

What classes? The ones you’re interested in.

AP stat or precalc? Preferably both. You can self-study statistics if you can’t fit it into your class schedule, and take the AP exam in May. Precalc is most important to take and master this year, since it’s a prereq for AP calculus, which is very important.

As for your science class, you should probably wind up taking AP bio, AP chem, and AP physics at some point. AP environmental science can be self-studied if you can’t fit it into your schedule without sacrificing one of the others.

Most importantly, take what you want to take, even if it disagrees with the advice people give you. Keep in mind that APs can always be self-studied without the class.

Also, why are you bumping your threads after 10 minutes? No one here gets paid to answer your questions. Your thread was still on the front page.

Does Sloan prefer math further than Calc BC? and do they want any specific science classes?

Sloan doesn’t admit you. MIT does. There are no Sloan-specific admissions requirements.

Would MIT want anything passed Calc BC?

If you are able to take college-level math, then you should.
