Hello,
I am a french student fluent in English and have the possibility to appy to both the US and France. I am interested in learning IR but not working in it, I'd like to go into Art or Fashion.

Both schools really appeal to me, Georgetown because of it's academics and amazing speaker opportunities, and science po because it is really famous and it is in Paris which is more artsy than Washington.

What do you think would be the best opportunity? (saying I got into both)
I have always lived in Europe and I am scared that Washington may not be "european" enough for me compared to London and Paris. What would employers prefer? (european or NYC)

Until you have been accepted by both places, there is no point in fretting over this dilemma. Apply to Georgetown and if you’re accepted, visit before committing to attend. I’m presuming it will not be a problem for you to do so, because Georgetown costs over $50,000 a year and if you’re considering it as an international applicant, money is probably not an issue for you.

Admission to both Science Po and Georgetown is really competitive.

However the admission system for those two is fairly different.
For Georgetown, you’ll have to apply before the deadline that should come in march.
Then, you’ll need to pass the SAT and get a good score, pass the TOEFL and get a 80 or above, etc…

On the other end, Science Po is all about the “concours”.
Since the concours is in august, you won’t know you are admitted until september.
But you’ll have to spend most of your senior year getting ready for it and maybe your summer as well.

In my opinion, you can do both and it won’t really affect you that much since you’ll have to work for them at different moments.

However, if you are admitted to Georgetown, go there. It will make the rest of your senior year, incredibly more comfortable and you will spend a nice summer with your friend instead of preparing for the concours.

Ps: I do not like paris, east cost is great !

I’m sorry but this is incorrect. Georgetown’s application deadline is January 10 (including all required test scores). The notification of the admissions decision will come sometime in March.
