I reported ALL of my SAT1 and subject scores.
I have been admitted to COE, and I do not think you guys should worry about sending in bad scores.

I had
570 chem (didn't fill out half of the scantron because of time, but did not cancel the score..)
780 chem
770 math 1c
790 math 2c
680 physics

Since admission office told me Cornell only looks at two highest SAT2 scores, I wanted to choose my math 2c and chem scores because I thought other bad scores might have a fallback. But I knew Cornell did not want to use a score choice, so I just sent all of my scores, including the atrocious 570 chem score.

I also had to take SAT1 for four times; 2070, 2070, 2170, 2180.
I sent them all in, and I don't think taking the SAT1 for four times had any bad effect on my admission.

It is just not worth risking your chances by not abiding my Cornell's admission rules.
Just send them all in because they will only look at your two highest scores.

Although…a few of my friends were informed (by phone & e-mail) that for subject tests, as long as you meet the requirements it’s fine. They ended up using score choice for the SUBJECT tests (BUT they met all the subject requirements) and still got in. I was a little curious myself, so I phoned one of the colleges. It turns out that what my friends told me was true - just meet the requirements for the subject tests. For SAT I/ACT, however, ALL have to be sent.

In addition, the rep said that even if you DON’T have the required subject tests, they said not to worry because they will just figure it out from other scores (i.e. AP, school grades…etc).

But really, I don’t think this is such a big issue. If you have great essays & recs and demonstrate superb “fit”, the impact of these standardized test scores are very minimal.

I took SAT 3 times and I got 560 on CR the first time, and I sent them all in, and apparently, my 560 wasn’t bad enough to kick me out of Cornell Engineering lol
