Hi all,
I'm applying for CS at Cornell CoE and I was wondering for SAT 2 Subject tests, can I only send Math 2 and Physics and leave out Chemistry (which I didn't do so well on)? It does fulfill CoE's two subject test (1 math, 1 science) requirement, but I'm not sure if it would conflict with Cornell's non-participation in SAT Score Choice.
Thank you so much! Good luck to all!

I believe it would conflict, meaning you must send it. If you would like, call admissions, they are very helpful (I wouldn’t do it tomorrow though, because ed results are coming out :))

Ahh thank you! Good luck to all ED applicants too :)

I think you have to send all of them (score choice thing) but Cornell will use your two best scores to represent you in admissions decisions.

Thanks! Do you know if it’s recommended to send in official AP score reports as well? Or is self-reporting on the Common App sufficient?

Wait until you’ve been accepted and decide to attend before you send official AP scores. Self-report on common app is sufficient for now.

Yes, wait until accepted. AP scores are not used in admission process and are only useful for placement/credit for freshmen year. Don’t spend the money to send right now. I don’t know about Cornell’s policy, but usually, if accepted, you will send them by July so they will be available when class registration starts. At least this is how it worked at my older Ds college.

Thank you! I’m an international student and my school does not offer APs, so my scores would not appear on my transcript. In that case, it’s alright to not send score reports too?

Do not send AP scores until you’re for sure attending. It doesn’t matter if they’re not on your transcripts. The only reason to send them is for possible college credits. There’s nothing they can do with them now so save your $.

Thank you so much!
