Score Choice- Sat Subject Tests. Please Advise

Hi everyone, I already tried searching for this using the search tool on this website. However, I'm still confused... Basically, I don't understand the process of "Score choice"

I am currently a sophomore, and today I just took the U.S. History, Math II, and Chemistry Subject Tests. I'm very happy with my performace on the U.S. History and Math, but not Chemistry.

Can you please explain to me when and how I send colleges my scores? Also, if I decided to retake the Chemistry Exam on June 4th, would colleges be able to see the score that I got on the one today, or would they count the score that is higher?

Thanks for your help.

p.s.

Again, I'm sorry to create yet another one of these threads but I just can't seem to understand from the past threads because there have been a lot of contradictory answers.

Could anyone please help me out? I would greatly appreciate it.

Here’s another contradictory thread for you…

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/919795-help-should-i-cancel-my-sat-subject-test-scores.html

Why not call CollegeBoard tomorrow and ask them directly? I plan to and will post any helpful answer I receive.

When you signed up to take the tests, you had the option to send your scores to 4 colleges for free. Did you use this service? You can choose which tests you send to which school, so if you want to skip sending 1 test, you choose which tests to send to the school. Default is “send all”. Some schools require you to send all scores. If you retake the test, the only score they will consider would be the higher of the two scores. If you expect your score to be over 750, you don’t need to retake or be concerned about sending… that’s good enough.

Does this help?

Ah, thank you for that explanation! That cleared things up a bit.

One last thing: When do you think is the ideal time to send my scores? It would be right when I"m applying to colleges, correct?
