Score choice

Honestly, what is it?
I'm a junior & I've already taken the SAT twice (yikes). However my second score was WORSE that my first (major yikes). Therefore I am taking it for one last & final time on June (for sure)
I hope was originally hoping not to send the second one, just the first one & last..if I needed the superstore at all.

But then I saw that you either send all or none? Is that true? If not, is score choice something that does that? But I've noticed it seems to be quite a derogatory. Why so? Will colleges see that I used it? Is that reputed negatively?

Any answers are greatly appreciated (:

Score Choice is indeed something that would allow you to select which scores you want to send to colleges. You can either google the term or find out more about it on the CollegeBoard website, which outlines the process very clearly. Here’re some links:

[SAT Score Choice - Choose the Scores You Want To Send To Colleges](http://sat.collegeboard.com/register/sat-score-choice)
[Score Choice - New SAT Score-Reporting Policy](Send SAT Scores to Colleges - SAT Suite | College Board)

Colleges that accept Score Choice would not have any problem at all with you using it. Many admission offices only look at your highest scores anyway, so it doesn’t even matter which ones you send. Just make sure to check each school specifically to find out what their policies are.

Yeah, basically what he said.

But some Ivys and Top Tiers don’t let you do score choice. Even if you mark down score choice on the common app for them, they are still granted full access by CollegeBoard (because CollegeBoard knows who does and does not accept score choice), and the admissions officers from the Ivys/Top Tiers that were at our school last week said if they see you purposely marked off score choice and they don’t do score choice, they’ll get mad and count it against you…
