My December SAT I score is down from May...what the hell?!

When sending scores to schools, can you select which score to send or do they get to see everything??? Thanks. I feel like an idiot.

they get everything...im getting hand scoring, because i am almost positive i only missed one on math, and somehow, my grade dropped drastically...if you are really unhappy, get hand scoring to make sure of everything...but yeah, they do see all of your scores...

How can you get hand scoring??? Can you give me some details? Thanks.

call this number...(609) 771-7600, its the collegeboard number...they'll give you options, pick the one that says like, january or before registrations, or december or before registrations, i cant remember, but pick that one...they they'll give you a second set of options...dont pick any of those, just wait til they give you an operator...and then she'll fill out a form for you, so have your sat registration number and credit card number with you...i was pretty confident i got a 780 (math), but my online score says otherwise

Thanks. How much does it cost?

im nto exactly sure...sorry

What can using hand scoring accomplish? Do the machines make mistakes that often?

I hear that they do.

same here!! I got a 660 in math, which i'm pretty sure i got about a 760. So yeah, i'm definitely getting my test regraded! Thanx for the number sat908.

yeah, exactly...im hoping collegeboard actually does take the time to do it though, and not just say they do...i was almost POSITIVE i received around a 780, and it said 690, and i was like WTF...collegeboard sucks balls dude...

Maybe you guys just made some careless errors and bubbled in the wrong boxes...

Most likely, you'll end up with the same results.

If the machines made mistakes that often, they wouldn't use them. Just think, how many people have you heard say "Yea, I got mine handscored and my score went from a 690 to a 780!"?

you know, do you have to destroy any hope that i have here or something...i had enough time to check my answers two times after i had completed each section...thats how easy the math section was...my friend's score changed 60 pts by hand scoring...i'll just hope mine end up the same way

I agree totally with Zuma, I mean your score isn't going to be raised from a 690 to a 780, just beause of marks! Not to be mean, but I think you deserve a 690 if you can't bubble correctly...I know that sounds harsh, but it is the truth.

would somebody please explain why this is any of your concern? i don't ever remember asking you all if i should use the hand scoring, and i really don't care for any of your advice...and why would anybody even assume i bubbled incorrectly? i don't remember the last time i perceived the letter "A" to be B, C, D, or E...so seriosuly, back off
