Score Policy

Hi, so I have a question for when applying to colleges but I am not sure if this is school specific or a general requirement.

So for some of my schools I’m applying to require you to send in all of your scores. I have taken the SAT and ACT 3 times each. If I just want to send in my ACT and I send in all three of my ACT scores, am I required to send in my 3 SAT scores or not? By all do they mean ALL or just the type of test (ACT or SAT) you want to send all of your scores to?

The question is school-specific. For some colleges they mean every single score. Other colleges mean all ACT or all SAT. You need to look at each college’s website to confirm.

Even if a school says send all your scores, you still don’t have to. There is no way the college would find out anyway if you didn’t send your SAT scores. Just send your best scores.

That’s not good advice. If you’re caught lying, your admission (or your degree) could be rescinded. Plus, it’s just dishonest. Do what the college asks you to do.

Actually, there is. HS’s often include the info on transcripts. The CB has been known to send all scores. Don’t risk it, as the consequences would be as mentioned above.

Terrible advice in post #2. There is no room for dishonesty in a college application.
