did either of you (swimfan and cubecul) take the ACT late?

took it 2/6. don’t think that’s late

@cube

Have u read through the discussion threads? If so, do all your answers match up with the consensus?

yup…

the only one that gave me trouble was the one about heat production in resistors. i’m in reg physics right now and we haven’t covered that, so i took a guess and it seems like everyone’s in agreement.

we’ll see.

Yea I thought that was hard too. Did u get that 10 and 1000 had the most resistance?

I also found the question with the softcover/hardcover books semi-confusing.

i dont quite remember, but the entire science section was very straightforward except for the heat production question.

the book question was actually really easy, wasn’t it asking to find what the total library size would be after making the purchases?

uhh i think so? It had ratios in it right?

For the heat production one, are u talking about the one that asked would a resistor with a higher resistance produce more heat than one with a low resistance

i’m sure we’re in the wrong thread discussing this, pm me.

yes to both

Quick Question (random)…what does it mean when people say (^bump) or (10char) lol thanks… :)

bump = bring up my post

10char = 10 characters. try posting a post that has less than 10 characters. you cant.

okay thank you!

lol I always thought bump just meant bump like “bump my thread up to the front” :D

3 days… I wish that hack still worked :(
