Score Report vs. Application

<p>This is probably a common sense question, but it's very hard to search for correctly.</p>

<p>Is it bad to send my SAT scores before I've actually applied to an institution? I have about 10 colleges on my list and some for CommonApp require a one-time all-in-one application (with the supplement and essays etc.) rather than a preliminary one (the latter adapted by most applyyourself colleges). I was wondering what would happen if I sent my scores and they were received by the all-in-one institutions before they had my file.</p>

<p>I sent my ACT scores in already, but I haven't submitted any of my applications yet. I hope they'll just open a file for me. Plus, I'm pretty sure my school report and transcript have already been sent it.</p>
