I didn't take advantage of the free score reports for the October SAT, so now I don't know how to include my October test results in my score reports by November 1st. Should I wait until the results are released on October 28 to include the October scores (will they even make it on time?) or should I just send my reports without the October scores? Help!

Me too!

I would contact each college individually, but I am assuming that they know a lot of us took the Oct SAT. If you’re sending scores electronically, they probably won’t take more than 5-7 days. If you notify colleges that the scores are coming, I think its fine. If you look under specific requirements for the school, most say “Do not rush report”. I’m assuming their deadline for SAT scores are not as strict as applications are.

So yes, the difference between now and sending scores after checking scores on Oct 28th isn’t big. I recommend waiting to check and including the Oct SAT since you never know how much your score increased.

Sorry for the long explanation! I have been looking into this topic a lot since I have also taken the Oct SAT and plan on sending it for Nov. 1 deadline as well.

@Sugoi15 thank you! Do you think it would be a good idea to send the scores I have now and then send the October scores afterwards once they become available?

Assuming that you don’t have any fee waivers, no. When you pay to send scores, you pay $11.25 per school. So if you go with that plan, you will need to pay the fee twice. I would either trust that you did well on the Oct sat and send all your scores now, or wait and pick and choose which score(s) to send on Oct 28.

@Sugoi15 I sent in two different score reports (one from past sittings and one from the current October sitting). Do you know if the colleges will receive them separately? Or do they only look at the most recent score report I sent? (I sent them electronically)

I have the same question as castleblack. I sent two reports too.
