I think both are really good. The 26 in science may be a lot lower than the rest, but it’s still well above average. However, in an extremely selective applicant pool, such as one at an Ivy or any elite school, it might put you below others.

If you’re going for somewhere less selective, you should definitely send both; if you’re going for somewhere elite or an Ivy, I would suggest just sending your SAT scores (and your subject tests, as well.)

The schools I’m applying to are generally more selective (a few Ivy leaguers among them). I thought as far as the ACT went most schools focused on the English and Math so I was very much considering the ACT.

Advice sounds good though, so thanks a bunch!!

You’re correct, certain schools ignore the science altogether. IMO, your ACT looks much better. Even though a 26 is pretty weak, the rest of your scores are extremely strong.

What’s your intended major? If it’s related to math, you should definitely send the ACT (35>700). In reality, sending both won’t hurt you. Both scores are good and complement each other.

Oh, really? I’m not a big ACT fan, so I wouldn’t know. If that is the case and they won’t really care about your science score, send all of your scores; SATs, SAT IIs, and ACTs.

I’m applying undeclared for all my schools (going for more of a liberal arts education) although I’ve been putting down International Relations when I’ve needed to choose something.

Sending both seems like it may be the best option, but perhaps that international relations base speaks otherwise?
