Should i send both of my scores to colleges that superscore? or just the october one?

Oct SAT: CR 750 M800 W710

Nov SAT: CR 600 M 670 W800

I know a lot of them only look at highest scores form each section, but would they care for my 150 point drop in CR and 130 points in Math? Should I not send the november one since writing doesn't matter that much?

Thanks. Schools like upenn say they look at scores from all sittings, should I worried for my huge drop in CR and Math? Or should I just send in my October scores?

I’d say send in both, ONLY FOR SCHOOLS THAT SUPERSCORE.

For schools that don’t superscore, the november sat wont help your chances when it’s a widespread notion that Writing section is the easiest. Some colleges disregard the writing section altogether.

thank you. For Upenn it doesn’t say if it superscores tho, i guess i’ll just send them anyways since they’ll probably just look at my highest sitting if they don’t superscore

I would not send them. You have one 800. The other scores on that one are relatively bad. It is more important to avoid negatives in an application.

Thinking about it, those scores are pretty weird. They might suspect cheating or something. As mentioned earlier, you don’t want to do anything to draw negative attention. I would definitely not send them.

@sattut I dont think the scores are as weird as you make it out to be. Regarding the 2nd test, it’s not that strange that somebody would tank the Critical Reading but ace the writing. You can do very well on writing just by knowing all the grammar rules, and minimal reading comprehension.

I would not send the new scores. Those are significant drops for CR and M. Such a significant drop makes me wonder about validity of the first test. If they’d gone up, I would say no harm in showing the improvement and get the advantage of the superscore, but falling scores (when you are a more experienced test taker) strikes me as more concerning.

Thanks guys. Tho in some schools I know they just record the highest section scores and toss the other ones out and put them in the profile and that’s all they’ll see when reviewing my application. I don’t think I’ll risk sending all scores to the ones that I’m uncertain about.
