Scores In!!!

Has anyone who took the test April 2nd got theres back?

720M 690CR 710W, 2120 total, i actually did worse than my 215 PSAT...i dont wanna retake, cuz that was sssooooo exhausting, but should i? is this going to be a good enough score to get into top science schools? is there some equation for converting to the old 1600 SAT? i know you could just add math and CR, but i thought someone had one that was a lot more complicated...

2120 / 3 = 706.6666 (average per section)
706.6666 multiplied by 2 = 1413.33333

curve seems to be...
m- 800,790,760,740,720,710(im the only person ive seen with 710 math)
v- 800,770,750,740,720,700,690

700 M
720 W
700 V (AHHHHHH this should have been much better,, will go cry now)

2120

Mobius--- I'm retaking mine,, it cant hurt and we barely scored over 1400... oh to calculate cross multiply 2250/2400 = X/1600

thanx, well, thats slightly better :)

still dont know if the score's good enough, but of course, CC tends to skew one's opinion of what the average should be...

My sister's scores:
CR 800
W 800
M 650

... eqauling 2250. Damn.

its all relative... We're def below the average of many competitive colleges

2200

700 V (nooo!!! read my post on "what does a 2000 equal" or something like that)
790 M
710 CR

2280

CR 800
M 760
W 720 (10 on essay, 71 on MC)
...I think I can do better than a 720. .

"its all relative... We're def below the average of many competitive colleges"

No way! you cant tell me a 2150 is below the average!

Dude, a 2380 is pretty below average....

Yep for Vassar, U of C, Swathmore, etc.... let me assure you I was quite heartbroken

I'm not talking about like by a 100 points or anything more like 15/ 20 but still its enough to make me nervous... especially with ppl around here scoring 2300000000+

2150 is not below average... It may be below average for some of the top Universities (and for the people on the forum), but considering that NM cutoff is around 215, I doubt it to be "below average."

:)

"It may be below average for some of the top Universities (and for the people on the forum)"

That is exactly what i was referring to

I don't care what you overachievers think, but I think a 2110 is incredible for me considering that I had originally scored a 1610 on the first diagnostic I took like about a year ago. WOOHOO!!! I am so happy right now... unfortunately, most of my friends scored in the 1500s-1700s. I was so expecting 1900s... 2110 it is!

hey, i have a question. I got a 1540 (M: 780, V: 760) on the old sat in december. I plan to take the new one either in june or october. What score should I expect? What would be a comparable score?
Thanks

v- 800,770,750,740,720,700,690

^ that curve sucks arse. i was figuring i'd get a 790 with two wrong. i guess we'll see what it is soon

Good job.

And for User_Name:

I was probably mistaken when I said it was lower than the average for most colleges because 2150 probably translates to the mid 1400s for Old which is where most of the averages for top schools.

For this forum, however, it is lower than average (See the voluntary database thread, and POST YOUR TRUTHFUL SCORES) although that's probably seriously skewed with people WHO LIE.

:)

those are my truthful scores if i was going to make them up I would give myself a 2500 hehe
