i don't even see how you know you'd get a 9 or a 10, and they're extremely close anyway...

How many times is everyone planning on taking it? (Or how many times did you take it before you stopped?)

Call CB twilightstar and order the Hand-Grading service for $25. It includes regrading of the essay.

Goddamn, how do people do so well on CR, I've seen like 5+ perfect scores. Any tips? I'd sell my soul if I can get 750+ on CR section.

800 W (11 - 80/80)
770 CR
760 M

2330

i'm happy

I sucked.

M700. CR720. W740.

Math 700. I cannot believe that. :(

Vintor - I know because I know what kind of essay deserves which grade (after taking a PR course and reading countless essays to self-grade them and getting tons of feedback on my essays from course instructors). The essay topic on the SAT was almost exactly like the prompt on the last practice SAT I took with PR. I scored 12 so I wrote an identical essay on the real SAT and scored a 9. Even being modest and considering differences and error, I should have at least gotten a 10. Furthermore, since I received a 9, I know that one of the two graders gave me a 5, and the other a 4, so there was at least a discrepancy which is why I'd like to have it looked at it again in hopes that the 4 will be changed to at least a 5 for combined at least 10. Changing my score from a 9 to a 10 will raise my writing score about 20 points, which does in fact, make difference to me.

At least you got your 411th post in :)

Sohni that's pretty good. This 'smart' guy at my school is a junior and took this test and got 17something. Now that's bad.

Thnx Sarorah that ^ makes me feel a lil better ;)

Not so hot...

730W (12 essay)/720CR/670M (ughhh) = 2120

Then again, I only did 7/8 of one practice test so I can't really complain.

But I really don't know what to do now since I completely missed the May SAT registration deadline, and I was planing on taking Math IIc in June. I really want to apply early somewhere, maybe I'll just take the ACT next month and the Math IIc in June, or completely screw the IIc altogether, which I don't think I can do. I have to go back and look at what my schools require. Or maybe a good IIc score will make up for the math. I have no idea.

hmm..dont post much but ive been reading these boards lyk crazy waitin for scores, now that i finally got them im calm enuff to type again so.... 760M 770CR 770W (73 mc, 12 essay) = 2300

im rele happy, and happy that my gc was happy....but i think ill take it again just to try for an 800 on sumthin..and congrats to every1 for surviving till scores came out....i know it was tough!

I got: 800CR, 800W, 790M = 2390!
Yes! I'm SO glad I'm done with the SAT.

Haha, 411th post...still, I was getting 750+ consistently on the practice tests.

if that was from kaplan or pr... that's why, we we're screwed over

I did most of mine from the CB guide.

W: 770 M: 610 CR: 600

Damn. I knew I got near an 800 W and I knew I really f'd up math seeing that my lowest practice test score was a 750, but I didn't cancel because I thought I got in the 700s on CR. Whelp, guess not. Composite score doesn't mean anything anyways so I gotta beef up my math (definite) and my verbal (fingers crossed, since on the last two practice tests I got a range of 700-800) for my next test in May.

The worst thing is, I know I'll have to retake the SAT. I didn't ever want to see that form EVER again. I thought I pwned the math section, too.

W: 640 M: 720 CR: 750 = 2110
definately retake... i got 2300's on practice tests too ... i chekced this morning and it basically ruined my whole *ing day

M: 740 (usually my best...) CR: 720 W: 770
total of 2230
I missed the May registration deadline and I'm taking SAT II's in June... should I even bother retaking this test?
I took ACT in Feb and got 31, but I just retook it on Saturday.

Crazy14 you have very nice scores. You should look at the schools you're interested in and find out what their average scores were last year, take into acount your GPA, EC's, how you think you'll do on the essays, etc. Just my opinion though.
