<p>If they really need your son, the scores can be lower. If 2 or 3 other boys with similar abilities show up, they need to be as close to, or even above, the school’s average stats. The coaches cast a wide net at this level.
I agree with an earlier poster that it is important to keep why your child is attending college, and what will help him best in life in mind. It’s hard not to get caught up in it all, but in the end, my child was best served by focusing on the academics, and using his sport skills to help him be accepted, but not as the focus of his application process.</p>
