Scores: Which is better?

I'll make this short and to the point:

I am applying early to University of Michigan (rolling admissions) and the University of Chicago. I hope to send in everything in by the end of September. I am retaking the ACT for the 3rd time this weekend (Sep. 12), so those scores will not be ready. Thus, which ACT score looks "better"?

ACT #1
English: 30
Math: 33
Reading: 29
Science: 34
Essay: 8
Composite: 32

ACT #2
English: 31
Math: 30
Reading: 34
Science: 33
Essay: 8
Composite: 32

Input is greatly appreciated =)

2nd no doubt

What college are you applying to in UMichigan?

And anyways, why does it matter? Just send em both in since they only look at your highest sub score?

I’m applying to LSA. What do you mean they only only look at highest sub score? So if I sent in 2, then they would… not exactly “superscore” but take the highest scores for each subject?

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but most college do not superscore the ACT; they will, however, superscore the SAT. Thus in Heplayer92’s example, most colleges will not recalculate his ACT composite to anything higher than a 32, no matter his superscored sub scores.

Yarrr thats what I thought Gibby.
Thats why I’m asking which ones better, because theyre both a 32 composite. Hopefully my 3rd time will be the best, but statistically, that is very low XD

My 5 point jump in reading the second time is pretty much negated by my 30 in math =/
