<p>The only full scholarship at JHU (that I know of) is the Westgate scholarship for engineering. The Hodson scholarship is a $22K scholarship open to everyone, with 50+ awarded. For the Westgate, the School of Engineering invites all the finalists up to Baltimore to interview for the 2 scholarships. At least this year, all the finalists had done laboratory research that they had submitted with their application (in the form of a research paper)</p>

<p>Any top-50 college's merit scholarships (if any) are contingent on things other than just board scores. The kind of schools that will give a free ride to people based purely on scores are not the sort of schools that CCers tend to apply to.</p>
