Hi guys, I know the basics of scoring and scaling an SAT test and I know this is a factor of the curve, but is it possible to get 1 or two wrong on CR or Math and still get an 800. I have a collegeboard practice test and I got three CR questions wrong and it said it scaled it to an 800, would this happen on the actual test?

The curve varies by test.

I’m fairly certain -1 on CR/Math is always 800. Most of the time -2 is as well.

For -3 or more, it’ll depend on the test.

i don’t know about CR but i’ve personally never seen -1 800 in math
unless it was brutal

It really depends on the test, but generally you can get one question wrong and still get an 800. Two or more, not so sure.
