If i applied to Holy Cross with the academic interest (on Common App) of biological and biomedical sciences as number 1 and Health Professions as number 2 and I was accepted, does that mean that I am in their pre-med track?

All students, regardless of the major or pre-professional interest they put down on the Common App, will enter undecided. That doesn’t limit you in any way from taking a biology course in your first semester, but we encourage students to try out a range of subjects early on and worry about declaring a major after they have found an interest.

In regards to our Pre-Health Advisory program (which includes pre-med, pre-dental, pre-vet, PA, etc.), for the first time we do not have a “track” into which students enter before they arrive and take classes at Holy Cross. This year, and for the foreseeable future, any student who wants to pursue pre-med CAN pursue it. We have a group of dedicated advisors who will help you pick your courses and give advice in your first two years, and then focus on preparing you for the MCAT and medical field after graduation.

Hope this helps!
