Freshmen year - straight A's w/ regular courses and honors math.

Sophomore year: 3 AP's: European History, Biology, and Human Geography. Also honors math. First semester (gpa: 3.96/4.56 w) I had all A's and B's except for AP human geography (C+) (screw up #1). I finished the year strong with all A's and B's (gpa: 4.22/4.56 w).

Junior year - 4 AP's: Lang&Comp, Calculus, U.S. History, and Physics B. First semester all A's and B's (gpa: 4.01/4.72 w). Projected second semester is all A's except for AP US History (C) (screw up #2) (gpa: 4.56/4.72 w). I believe I got a 4 or 5 on the AP exam however. I couldn't handle keeping my grades up in every class the last quarter, cramming for AP's and all. That is the reason for my C.

Senior Year - 5 AP's: Chemistry, Calculus BC, Physics C, Environmental Science, and AP literature.

My SAT score is 2230, and I expect to get a 34 on the ACT.

Race: Asian (a bad one at that)
Religion: Hindu
I go to a private, catholic school in the Northeast.

In senior year, if I get all A's (which I know I can because English and science are my strongest subjects) and get a 4.8/4.8 gpa (weighted), do I have any chance at all of getting into Ivy league schools?

My school doesn’t rank btw, but I am in the top 10% of my class.

I don’t understand how you can have the maximum GPA when you got Bs and Cs in classes…

I don’t mean to crush your hopes but really anything other than straight A’s destroys your chances at the ivies. one asian girl at my school (ranked #1) took 2 ap’s sophomore year, 6 ap’s junior year, and 5 senior year (getting A’s in every class btw) and got waitlisted (and ultimately denied) at every ivy. and she had 4 years of tennis and decent community service! now i’m not saying that you shouldn’t try and apply to these schools, but unless you’ve got something phenomenal up your sleeve to use in your essays, a few b’s and two c’s just won’t cut it. remember, there are hundreds of thousands of students out there juggling ap/*** tests and extracurriculars and still acing all their classes, and even most of them won’t make it to the ivies. I myself just took my fourth ap test today (I have another one thursday), and even though I’m a ridiculously strong student who received a 5 on all five of the ap tests I took last year and only received two B’s throughout my entire high school career-including senior year- I’m “only” going to UCLA (btw I also had 4 years of sports and decent community service). What I’m trying to say is that even though I’m no qualified college admissions counselor, I can see that the ivies are just too far of a stretch. BUT even if you probably won’t get into say, the top ten schools on U.S. News and World Report, you have very strong chances at 11-25 and beyond. Just make your essays good! I can see you work really hard and I can relate to that, but don’t expect the ivies, because I can relate to that too! =P

I meant if I got the maximum gpa (4.8/4.8) for senior year ALONE.

Cumulative gpa obviously can not be perfect. Sorry if I was unclear on that.

Thanks, Jake8888. Do you think I will be able to get any scholarship in the 11-25 schools?

Would you still recomend me applying to Ivies, or should I just focus on other schools?
