I'm an american citizen because my parents are, but I've lived in a foreign country with my family all my life. I moved here two years ago to try and transfer to a university. I filled out my FAFSA this June, but because my parents file their taxes in another country, the information I needed to supply on the FAFSA form was really hard to get. I couldn't really understand the foreign tax return my father sent from overseas. Now after looking at the FAFSA I realized because of the different currency and whatnot I had entered a lot of incorrect information...and the FAFSA makes me look like I do not need any financial aid at all, which is unfortunate because I am actually the exact opposite. Is there anything I can do? Or someone I can talk to to try and fix this? I can show the tax returns as proof that the information I entered was wrong...

If the information you entered is incorrect you can correct it. You will probably be verified and have to provide the copies of the tax returns and show what exchange rates you used.

But, don’t your parents do US tax returns? US citizens and green card holders are required to do a US tax return every year, even if they are not living in the USA. That may cause some problems with FA if they do not and are supposed to (ie income is high enough).
