Oh god, so I got into WUSTL ED and I had two pending B's before midterms this last week. Well...I ended up getting 5 B's (out of 7 classes). My discrete math teacher failed me (us) on a group project for things like our powerpoint background not being dark enough. And then my European history teacher decided to give almost everyone a 50% on a 270 point project because we all "plagiarized". Well, I really didn't plagiarize and I don't even know about the discrete math project. So...are they going to rescind their offer? I emailed both of my teachers to figure out what I did wrong but I don't know if that's gonna get anywhere. It's not really that I was slacking, it just kind of happened out of nowhere. Except maybe I could've studied harder for biology, I was about 5 points away from an A. :(
Please help...I have no idea what to do. Thanks!

It’s unlikely, but still possible, that they would rescind for a smattering of B’s. Why not be proactive and email admissions just to be safe?

I think the OP is approaching it correctly by trying to solve the problem at the HS level. No reason to make waves at the college at this point.

Glassesarechic is right. The OP should contact the college and get in front of the grade issue. It’s doubtful they would rescind but a large decrease in grades smells of someone coasting.

What do I say to them?? Honestly I was totally surprised by this whole thing!

They’re Bs… you’re not going to be rescinded for Bs o.O Perhaps if you had a couple of Cs, Ds, or Fs… but I really doubt you have anything to worry about. Going from As to Bs doesn’t represent a large slip in grades, for a senior anyway.

If you really want to, I guess you could contact the college. However, you risk focusing attention on something that otherwise would probably go unnoticed.

5 B’s are not going to get you rescinded.

waaaaaiiiiiiiiit so what do I do?

bump 10char

What do you do?

Investigate the concerns you have regarding your grades at the hs level.

Work your tail off for the rest of the year.

Wash Univ. will get your final grade report in the summer - so make that look comparable to the grades you applied with. I can’t imagine B’s being a problem - but you have plenty of time to get your grades back up before the end of the year.

I do not see a need to contact Wash U now.

So uhh…what about 4 B’s and a C
