Screwed?

<p>I'm a sophomore in HS and idk if I will have trouble getting into college because of my grades. Freshman year I screwed up pretty badly, my GPA was about a 2.7 I think. </p>

<p>Now this year, I'm in Spanish III, English Hon, Alg II CP, American Studies II Hon, and Chemistry Honors. So far I'm doing well in English, Spanish, American Studies and I think Chemistry. Not sure about that one. But anyway I'm really worried because I just don't think my grades are good enough right now.If my GPA this year suffers the same fate as my freshman GPA did will I have issues getting into decent schools? I just want to go to like Penn State for undergrad. Then a really good grad school.</p>

<p>You have plenty of time to get this up...colleges like to see an upward trend. it's only first quarter. By saying "if my GPA this year suffers the same fate", you're basically dooming yourself to mess up again. Even if you bombed this quarter already, you still have 3 more to get things up. try your best!</p>
