SDSU acceptance

Okay so I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with SDSU. I visited the campus and I am in love. I really want to get acceped into the school. I have a weighted GPA of 3.75 and an SAT of 1590. Writing- 540 Reading- 550 Math- 500. I have an eligibility index of 4050. I am really wanting to get into the school and I want to apply to Health Science for my major but from what i have heard, that major is hard to get into. I know all the majors are supposed to be impacted but I don't want to apply for the major I want and get denied when I could have gotten in with another major. What major can i apply to that I would have a very good chance of getting accepted into SDSU with? Not very competitive major where I would have a high chance of being accepted? PLEASE HELP!!! SDSU is my dream school!

Are you in state or out of state? Also, I think the only thing that would hold you back are your sat scores, your GPA is fine. I would recommend you apply to a major that not many people would even think of applying for. for example, a friend of mine applied and got accepted to Boston College with a major of global jewish studies, or something related to that. She only did that to get accepted, and then changed her major once she was at the school. Do some research and find out what isn’t so popular, or competitive, at sdsu and apply for that, and play it off as if you really want to pursue that major

Most majors are impacted at SDSU, so changing majors is possible but you may have to meet certain department requirements before you can change. I suggest you contact the registar for more information.
The acceptance rate of Health Science majors last year was around 41%. See data below:

I think you have a decent chance for an acceptance. Good Luck.

I am in state! And yeah I have been researching trying to find out what majors no one chooses really but it’s hard to find out because no one really asks or talks about it haha I was thinking something along the line of maybe comparative language or linguistics maybe? Hahah I don’t know
