SDSU App Redirected to CSUCI

Okay so I applied to SDSU and SFSU and apparently they're both impacted for Sociology which is my major so about 2 weeks ago I got this email,

"Dear $$$$$$$:

On behalf of California State University Channel Islands (CI), I invite you to consider CI as your possible home-away-from home during your undergraduate educational career. We received information that you applied to an impacted campus and as an alternative, we'd like to offer you an opportunity to consider CSU Channel Islands for the fall 2014 term.

CI is a comprehensive public University that offers 23 majors, among them, Sociology; the major you are interested in. The campus is beautiful, sophisticated, very safe and student-friendly. The University is committed to academic excellence, civic engagement, environmental responsibility, and leadership for the 21st century. CI students tackle problems in their community and the real world; conduct meaningful discussion, research and exploration; and work closely with expert faculty to make a difference.

Please visit <a href="http://www.csuci.edu">www.csuci.edu</a> for additional information and to learn about CI and what we can offer you. If you are interested in applying to CSU Channel Islands as an alternative campus, please reply to this email no later than Friday, March 14th and we will follow up with you regarding next steps. If you decide to explore this option, we can also obtain your application that you submitted via CSU Mentor and no new application fee is required.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and best wishes as you continue your college educational career.

Sincerely,
Vu T. Tran, Ed.D.
Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management"

So I thought what the heck I'll let SDSU send them my application. So I did, and I had transcripts sent and everything. I sent them my AA-T verification too last week.

However, I am getting the AA-T which guarantees admission to the CSU system without the Communications requirement because the CA ED code requires that IGETC - UC or IGETC CSU be certified to get the degree and i am completing the IGETC UC version, Pursuant to the California Educational Code they are required to admit me, but the person at the enrollment center that I spoke to was very unsure she said that admissions had already been sent out and the computer didn't update mine for some reason (probably the admissions requirement) any ideas on what's up or what to do or anything?

Bump bump bump
