SDSU chances?

I don’t know if my last post sent but I am from a private college prep school in Hawaii and I have a 22 on the ACT and a 1080 super score on the SAT. I take 3 HL classes and 7 total classes. Please help a stressed teen out this my dream school

You’ve posted several times about this same chancing.

The answers won’t change. The only ones who know, about your chances are the admissions officers. For now, work on your current coursework.

You might get in or you might not. You are not a California resident so, it will be difficult to gauge your chances.

Cost is $42k per year. There is NO financial aid for non-residents. That means no scholarships nor grants.

Calculate your Eligibility index along with your CSU GPA.

(CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math +EBRW) or (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT comp x10).

CSU/UC GPA calculator and your CSU GPA is the capped weighted UC GPA: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Your test scores are low for SDSU. You want an EI for the SAT around 4100+ and for the ACT around 1000+ to be competitive. Also SDSU’s deadline for retaking the SAT/ACT is the November sitting, so if you have not retaken these tests, I would say that SDSU would be a Reach with your current scores.

My CSU GPA is a 3.82 and the eligibility index with that and my SAT is a 4,136 if that is any help

Then if your EI is above 4100, you are competitive but no guarantees. Make sure you apply to several schools and major can make a difference.
