SDSU Class of 2025 — Regular Decision

Thank you!

I don’t think so either.
Patiently waiting

So as an intl applicant I had to submit physcial transcripts. Before I did that, it said date as November 13th which was when I submitted my application. Once they processed my trancript, status date changed to January 13th, 2021, and they marked my toefl score and transcript requirement as complete ( previously it was incomplete until jan 13th). I think the date is when they last updated your portal  if you had submitted everything required to make a decision the day you submitted your app, it will likely still say date, 2020. Hope that reduces some anxiety!

Mine shows the date I submitted but I know they have seen it since because they requested military documents. I dont think it indicates anything

Someone had commented earlier that the admissions office said that decisions are rolling out this week. Any idea if this is only for nursing? Or all majors? The wait is painful!

I don’t know if you were referring to my comment earlier. But I called admissions on Monday, and they said they were planning on sending acceptances this week (I think to all majors?) but no specific day was decided. Then again, this was just from the lady I talked to and she said the people truly in charge of admissions are above her, but that was what she knew of. So from my understanding, they should come out this week, but who knows, plans change. And even if they do come out this week, it probably won’t be all of the acceptances as it seems that some trickle out a little later.

Thank you! I guess we just wait! I guess they will come out Monday latest since that is 3/15 and decisions are supposed to come out by “mid-March”. Good luck to everyone waiting and congrats to everyone that has already been accepted!!

My friend got a formal email from SDSU this morning at 10:00 AM saying that his decision is now available (this was my same friend who checked his webportal on monday with no email and was admitted)

Do you mind sharing your stats?

Applied for nursing and got my acceptance email today! Does anyone know about how they notify you that you got a scholarship? I was thinking i would get a scholarship but it did not say anything in message that said I was accepted. Are they doing scholarship notifications later or would they have mentioned it in my acceptance?

Congratulations on your acceptance! I copied and pasted this from the SDSU financial aid and scholarships website:

“Once students are admitted, complete their Intent to Enroll, and activate their SDSUID, they may log in to Aztec Scholarships during the application period.”

Did you apply to any scholarships at time of application?

If you are eligible for an academic achievement scholarship, you will receive an invitation from San Diego State University to apply after you have submitted your application for admission through Cal State Apply.

It depends if you are in state or OOS as well. On the website it says

The SDSU Merit Scholarship, SDSU’s most prestigious scholarship, is awarded to a select number of the most academically-qualified students who graduate from a local SDSU admissions-area high school and achieve a minimum 4.00 high school GPA. The scholarship application is available by invitation-only and qualified first-year applicants are notified in December and January if they are eligible for consideration. Awards amounts are typically $7,500 - $10,000 per year.

A limited number of scholarships are offered to non-California resident students. Awards are very competitive and based on academic merit. Amounts will vary. Students are automatically considered for scholarships when they apply for admission.

I’m local freshman and my portal still pending. Do i still have a chance? (Nursing)

Did you see you were accepted in the portal on Monday? Or is this a whole new round of acceptances?
