Your eligibility index is 978. For SDSU/CSULB, around a 1000 EI gives you a good chance at an acceptance.
EI= (CSU GPA x200) + (ACT composite x10)

i usually convert my act score to an sat score and then find my index, i know the formula is different. is a 978 close enough to 1000 to have a good shot?

I’d suggest you re-take the ACT or take the SAT. Your GPA suggest you should be able to post a better score. A few more points will be the difference between getting in and not, especially at SDSU.

Be sure to apply to several schools, at least a couple you know will take you.

thank you i just took the act a week ago and feel like i did much better so i hope that goes up, thank you for the response

i believe the CSUs super score the act, correct me if I’m wrong, so i feel my score can go up
