<p>California (Orange County). $$$ doesn't really matter at this point....still waiting to hear from USC but have to put deposits down for either one of those schools by May 1st as a backup!</p>
<p>SDSU, hawaii is nice but it is very different then living in the oc.</p>
<p>kcs09, three years ago my oldest son went to SDSU, and his best friend went to Hawaii. Friend's been trying to transfer back to California since year 2, my son loves SD. (Transferring turned out to be a problem for some reason; not all of the UH studies were applicable or something so he's still there. I don't know the whole story.) UH is kind of run down, and Hawaii gets kind of old after a while. California kids are spoiled; UH sounds like a better idea than it seems to turn out. </p>
<p>Academically, SDSU is a great school, which has been elevating its program (and prestige) at an impressive rate.</p>
